What is GroupLife Ministry at CLC?
There are three kinds of groups to be involved with at CLC. Community Groups, Covenant Groups, and Ministry Teams. The mission of GroupLife is to build community through friendships, spiritual connections, and service. Each kind of group offers a distinctive experience that will help you grow spiritually.
Community Groups are the Baskin Robbins of GroupLife- 32 flavors. Community Groups are organized by congregational leaders around a stated purpose, they have open membership, and are flexible in nature. Community Groups give an opportunity for participants to connect with others and convert to a Covenant Group if the chemistry is right. To learn more check out the ABC’s of Community Groups.
Junior and Senior High Community Groups
At CLC we offer our teens a network of friendships where students meet God through spiritually transformative experiences. We prioritize teens so that they will prioritize God. For more information on upcoming Student Ministry gatherings please check out the Youth Gathering Schedule.
A Covenant Group is the place where deep friendship and spiritual transformation occur at CLC. They are organized with trained leaders who commit with their group to meet on a regular basis, upholding the Covenant Group values that create the environment for deep friendship and spiritual growth to occur. To learn more, check out the 4 C’s of Covenant Groups.
Ministry Teams are organized to give CLCers the chance to serve. There are ministry opportunities in each of the four Ministry Areas: Nurture, Mission, Worship, and Discipleship. Ministry Teams are led by team leaders and have a specific ministry focus. To learn more, check out our Ministries page.
